Hui Cyc (200W/800W) The award-winning Hui Cyc delivers seamless blending of one beam to the next in a visually even, controlled wash with no distracting or unwanted spill light. It is suitable for lighting cycs and back cloths up to 5m / 20ft high for permanent or rental / production temporary installations. The unique dual chamber airflow design uses a temperature differential and rapid airflow to quickly remove heat which maximises and extends the life of your colour filters. The Selecon colour frame for the Hui, Lui and Aurora ranges gently clamps the plastic filter while holding the frame away from the luminaire body to reduce (-20°C) the transference of the heat from the luminaire into the frame and plastic filter. Available as a single unit, 3-way and 4-way battens; all of which are easily converted to groundrow luminaires. Standard models are supplied with separate silicone rubber cable tails, with protected entry and clamping glands. Connector models are supplied fitted with a terminal box for your connector requirements. The Hui slot lock joint system allows a number of units to be ‘locked’ together. Hui Flood (200W/800W) The Hui Floodrange provides a 90° flood beam with well-controlled edges and even distribution; ideal for lighting cycs and back cloths up to 5m high for permanent installations (G-multi connector / in-out wiring) or rental / production temporary installations. The light beam can be shaped using the barndoor accessory. Work Light model - for overstage, rehearsal lighting providing a compact 90° flood beam. The luminaire is fitted with a wire safety mesh instead of safety glass which allows the air flow system to work in any position for extended operating hours. This model is not suitable for use with plastic colour filters; no colour frame is supplied. Please see the specifications data sheet download. You can count on consistent performance, control, shape and distribution from every Selecon Cyc or Flood. This is guaranteed by the extruded aluminium reflector design which ensures the precise specification of the asymmetric shape from luminaire to luminaire in contrast to the often variable performance of reflectors made from formed sheet metal. Aurora Cyc (625W/1250W) Top performance and high light output for the larger stage and studio. The Aurora Cyc luminaire will smoothly and evenly illuminate a 9.0m high cyclorama, scrim or back cloth from a throw distance of 3m when cycs are spaced at 2.5m centres; ideal for permanent installations or temporary rental/production requirements. The beam is well-controlled with no spill to cause distracting highlights on scenery or the stage dressings. Selecon's Cyc, Flood and Groundrow ranges have a well-deserved reputation for delivering life up to double that of other open-faced cyc floods of comparative wattage. The unique dual chamber airflow design creates a temperature differential between the lamp compartment, isolated by the safety glass from the colour filter compartment which causes rapid airflow through the luminaire and across both surfaces of the filter, quickly removing the heat to maximise filter life. Extruded aluminium reflectors ensure the precise specifications of the asymmetric shape and guaranteed performance from luminaire to luminaire, a very smooth light beam which falls off evenly without visible high lights or shadows.
